In this time of darkness
When the solitude's struggle
Spread a little light and
Send a virtual cuddle;
In this time of fear
When the constraints are feeling hard
Share the kind thought and
Post a lovely card;
In this time of weirdness
When you are missing all your peeps
Spark a bit laughter and
Write a funny tweet;
In this time of doubt
When there is no end of sight
Try and stay united with
A video part night;
There is nothing like a lockdown
To pause for little reflection
To show us what is meaningful
Life is all about connection;
From when this is all over
And the fog becomes to clear
We will be even more thankful
For the getting through the near.
